Solhuset Project

Energileg provides energy for Denmark's most climate-friendly childcare facility

Solhuset opened in 2011, and the very special thing about this daycare center is that they produce their own energy from renewable energy sources. To achieve this goal, EnergLeg has delivered an EnergyHandle which must be the driving force behind the information about the institution's bicycle shed. Instead of pressing a button, the power lever must be rotated to illuminate the shed.

This puts a special focus on how much energy that is to be supplied to make a lamp illuminate, and provides another more CO2 neutral institution.
