Windmill StoryTeller
Denmark's first Energy Cabin in Sæd-Ubjerg
An innovative learning space where we try to think out-of-the-box on the traditional classroom and get students out into nature - you will find a specially designed dissemination wall.
In this dissemination task, the StoryTeller's technology is built into the back wall of the cabin and thereby part of the decoration itself. The turntable is specially designed as wind turbine blades on a large transparent acrylic plate. So, visitors grab the big wings and create kinetic energy while turning - just like out in the wind.
The back wall of the cabin is seen here with a photo taken of the six wind turbines which are close to the cabin. Based on a certain scale, we have made our unique turntable so that it fits exactly with one wind turbine in the foreground. Based on this photo, we have carefully coordinated how our technology should be placed so that the experience would be optimal. This unique design supports the sound dissemination as well as the traditional text boards, which are also in the cabin. The speech for "The story of the Vindtved windmills" is designed and narrated by Anton Gammelgård from Knowledge about wind.
EnergiLeg's unique design of the StoryTeller gives this project and other future projects opportunity to support the many specific and unique dissemination tasks.
